I’ll never understand how pitchers can get on the field and pitch for an elite baseball program like LSU and can’t throw a freaking strike like a dang 10 year old.

Because he’s trying to develop pitchers for a deep run in scenarios where we are up big. Binge has nasty stuff. Needs to learn to locate and battle.

I mean he gave him a 6 run lead in the 9th with 1 out and nobody on. Just throw damn strikes. Instead he loads the bases on walks. You could see Jay wasn't happy with him when he went to get him.
But yeah I 100% agree with the other poster. How can elite college pitchers at a program like LSU not be able to throw strikes. And his mechanics were terrible. Ben was spot on with what he was saying was wrong. How can Ben immediately see the problem but our pitching coach can't? Walking hitters is just beyond frustrating at this level. Sure you'll sometimes have walks but to have multiple guys that just simply cannot throw strikes at all is mind blowing.
