As an alumnus I quite frequently get calls from the Alumni Association asking for donations. I think the next time I'm going to tell them to go pound sand until this clown is standing in the unemployment line.

LSU would waive any buyout! Book it. But it will never happen because NO other school wants him.

Wouldn't it be something if some school rolls out a huge contract for Miles and he ends up leaving LSU and we end up getting Fisher anyway?

You trying to wiggle out of chopping your dick off? I don't blame you but the Fisher ship has sailed.

Actually, I travel extensively in my work. I have spent 4 of the last 5 yrs in Chicago, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, and Nebraska and everywhere I have been when Miles is discussed he is very well respected. The people who are the most critical by far are the so called LSU fans who are obsessed with hate toward the man to the point that it seems to dominate their lives. The fact is if these LSU "fans" would get it thru their heads that Miles is actually wanted by many LSU fans and all of his players and that Miles is going to be here next year then maybe they could at least let the hate speak and bs stop for one damn season. The constant whining is going to change nothing. Miles deserves this opportunity to coach the team next season if unsuccessful he will be probably gone. Why not support the team instead of constant detraction. If I was as bitter and full of hate as some of you then I would find some other form of entertainment or another team to follow. This anti-Miles obsession is old and stale.

What if I'm a fresh, newly-minted anti-Miles obsessed fan? Is it still old and stale? You know since my obsession, as you define it, has been around for only 7 weeks AND we just basically went through 1.5 weeks of looking at making a change from over a decade of one head coach.

Which is more old and stale? That 11yrs, my 7 week "obsession", or the 1.5 weeks of anticipation?

Or is it all dismissed out-of-hand because I had to turn in my LSU fan privledges once I said "yes I am anti-Miles"? He IS LSU football right? Ummmm, no. For now, that IS being forced upon us. That, like all things, will change. That, unlike all things, are making many of us more bitter.

believe Miles has no buyout if HE chooses to leave,

If he leaves on his own accord he owes nothing.
