It's different because it's a team in sports. Usually players have a loyalty to their team and don't leave for a rival. Do you ever see players transfer from Auburn to Alabama or Michigan to Ohio State? Not usually.

It's like NFL free agency. Money is one thing, for sure, but often players are drawn to the best chance at a championship. No one has done it better than Saban. It's the rich get richer situation. LSU will also get their benefits after having three championships in the last 18 years or so... $$$ & Championships that's the teams that will feast.
