LSU played a good team tonight. Lange did not have close to his best stuff and TCU didn't help him by chasing anything out of the zone. We didn't get the key hits tonight.
Guess what? We play tomorrow! We are not a terrible team! It's baseball you win some you lose some. Chill!

Too many people watching LSU baseball have a football mentality. You will lose games and some days it's just not your day. You just gotta move on put it behind you and play the next one.

It's not the fact that we lost, it's how we lost. A couple of glaring issues were uncovered tonight. Pap isn't very good at hitting or catching (I'll give him 1 or 2 games but honestly he couldn't hit for shite last year) Lange gets rattled easily. Our hitting in general is abysmal from a fighting stand point. We see three pitches we swing and never make contact or we get a dribble grounder.

2 losses already? damn the season just started. well looks to me lsu baseball is off to a similar start as lsu basketball. lsu basketball played some easy cream puffs for 10 or so games. lsu baseball played 9 easy cake games so far and tonight vs tcu, lsu had no idea what to do. well i take that back, lsu players and coaches knew they were playing number1 in baseball and had nothing to show for

Pap had a bad defensive game but today was more of an exception not the rule on him defensively. The hitting can be fixed with more at bats vs quality arms. Lange needs to be better no doubt. Your 5 and 6 hole hitter faced the two best pitchers they have ever seen in their lives so they can get better with more experience. These are all things that can be fixed by May/June. Will they? We don't know but they can be.

People are frustrated because the issues that plagued us tonight are the same ones that have gotten us booted from the CWS 2 and Q. If we even make it there.

When your hitting coach takes a head coach job in November it's kind of hard to go get another hitting coach before the season starts.
