We just met these guys at Hooters on gameday. They are WSU alum and gave us the story of how the WSU flag flies at every gameday. Great story and great fans. Very complimentary of LSU. They have a great flag flying tradition reportedly 105 consecutive gamedays... Autographed by all gameday crew, flag gets mailed across the country to each gameday location courtesy of their alumni assoc. Pretty cool!!

Yeah I worked with a guy that's a WSU alum... he told me about the flag thing... that's very well done by the WSU alumni assoc.

My younger brother lives in the Tri Cities and Wash. St. is my second favorite team. Love the determination of the alums to keep the tradition going.

I was wondering why the hell someone in the very back on College Gameday was waving a WSU flag

I talked to a guy that was in BR in '09. He said that roughly 10 years ago (105 games I guess) they kept asking Gameday to come to Pullman. They didn't so to WSU guys have gone to every Gameday since. Usually it's a local (alum or friend) who will fly the flags but sometimes it gets pretty complicated. He said that if they ever come to Pullman they may stop, that was the original plan, but at this point they don't see ever stopping.
