He was basically both. Called the plays himself.

Has nothing to do with the OC. Sorry fellas. Bitch and moan all you want. LSU has a Soph QB and it's blatantly obvious.

I hate to quote the cat in the hat, but at this time it seems necessary.. "not only are you wrong... your stupid"

Actually we DON'T run the option... it's more of a "theres a guy tackling me, you take it" scheme.

You nailed that!

One throw downfield to Lafell.

Actually, according to the routes run on some of the sack plays as well as the post-game comments, there were several downfield throws called and JJ either couldn't find a reciever or didn't have a check-down guy available, hence sack after sack. Lame-brain penalties resulted in many of the long-yardage downs which resulted in the sacks which resulted in killing any momentum which resulted in playing from behind which resulted in more sacks etc. JJ won't last the season taking the beating he's taken the last two games IMO. I think Florida ran around 8 or 9 basic plays last night. You don't need to use or even know the whole play book to succeed if you are talented, disciplined and execute. Both Florida and 'Bama are playing that way this year. That's their identity. High time we find one too. By the way, on actual running plays LSU netted 97 yards on 25 carries. Not bad against a great defense. What might have happened without the penalties and questionable play-calling had the Tigers run the ball 40-50 times. A half-dozens runs by RS would have been effective IMHO.
