Pitching in two games in the same day is not good for a pitcher of any age. 9U all the way to college. I leave out pro hall because it his unlikely that it will happen in professional baseball.

This is probably a reaction to the run-rule games and trying to get pitchers ready for some longer stretches. It is EASY to see backwards!

Genuine question for anyone who cares to answer. Why was it ok for Edwards to throw twice in one day for a total of 80 in game pitches with multiple hours in between, but not ok for Skenes to come back after a 1 hour rain delay on Thursday?

I’m not saying I’m innocent when it comes to antagonizing, but there is none of that in this thread by me.
I think in the end we are all a little upset that LSU’s 2nd best pitcher went down with an arm injury a few weeks after being overused in a blowout game.
