I personally can't wait for the home game with Georgia. I am just as pessimistic as anyone regarding possible outcomes for next season, but today I'm going to allow myself to think positively. (mostly due to boredom at work)

We have a very tough early season schedule leading up to that game, so I'll say at best we go into that game 5-1 with a loss at Auburn. We will probably be ranked in the top 20. Not many people will give us a chance against a top-10 undefeated Georgia team. I think Tiger Stadium is going to be electric for this game, and it could be a great game similar to 2003. A win in this game could give the team the confidence they need to pull out wins against a tough Mississippi State team and Bama in the following two games.

So what? It was a day game in 2003 and it was an amazing game, and it was a day game @ Georgia in 2013 and it was an amazing game. Atmosphere will only suck if a bunch of people go into the game with that attitude...oh wait, this is LSU and people will go into the game with that attitude.

Alabama.

One day, we will beat them again. It's always lit in Baton Rouge.

The southeastern game - this will be the battle for supremacy over Louisiana.

It's going to be an insanely tough schedule and breaking in a first time SEC starting QB.

will be a crazy season with likely some tough losses.

The home games against last year's two NC game reps will be the marquee match ups for sure.

Georgia to see the talent they bring to campus.

I’m sure their football team will be good too

I'm with you, basiletiger. I am really looking forward to LSUMBB in 2018-19.

Note: Calvary is the mountain Jesus was crucified on, CAVALRY is a mounted force. A common error among us Southerners.

Its Miami.
This is a game between what sould be between two evenly matched teams against a proven coach with both having a year to prepare. The type of game the previous coach used to win more times than not even without Arranda.
AD, Alleva said a coaching change was needed to elevate the program into a more consistent Nat'l power and is the reason why the previous coach was dismissed. This seems to be a make or break game if LSu is going to elevate the program from where it was before the change.

A loss most likely will doom Coach O if this is the case.
A win could leave some hope, but O would still need to beat either Auburn Ala or Ga to salvage the season and keep the program relevant assuming LSu wins the rest of their games they will be favored in.

i know UGA was great last year but they lost their best players on offense and defense. if our dline can make their qb unconfortable, i like our chances

Looking forward to LA Tech. LSU matches up well against them and I think they get the win.
