NSU game, he was 2nd team QB. Every other game you listed he was 3rd string

still should have gotten the PT for later in the year and 2012

JJ running option plays (when he first came back) doesn't really help anything or anybody

mett should have been our darko (human victory cigar)

16 points with 15 mins to play. No.

we had all the momentum and UF had no offense

hell, we scored with basically 12 minutes in the 4th and then only ran the ball after that

UF's offense had 1 big play in the 2nd half, and it was an outlier deep play. they were thoroughly dominated by that point

17 points and 23 mins?

agian, what threat did UTenn impose by that point?

we threw twice the rest of the game

16 points is one big play from being a game. Up 17 with that much time left isnt a lead worth putting in the 3rd string qb.

we were so worried in both games we basically stopped passing the ball, bro

mett is likely our best QB, and the only thing holding him back was PT...so it's logical to not give him PT, right?

running the ball the rest of the game was a better use of those plays

I see you post a lot of threads about various topics. You give off a sense that you have a vast, all encompassing knowledge of sports. You frequently get on this board and post opinions in great detail, and always keep your threads alive, always.

My question is, have you thought about going into coaching?

Les Miles took a knee in victory formation 4 times to end the game in the red zone using starting QBs, that's all you need to know about Les Miles.

thats called milking the clock. If we got into a 3rd and long, i'm sure the coaching staff would have thrown the ball.

that's part of the point. by that point the opposition had given up and we were running the shite out of the ball. we don't need our 2-headed monster of crap at QB to do that

Auburn was the most frustrating for me.
Would have been nice to get him experience there considering how big that game usually is. Not to mention their secondary is/was atrocious.

How many coaches do you think would sub in the 3rd string qb up 17 with 23 mins to play? Honest question.

I wholeheartedly disagree with any notion that we should have put our third string QB in for playing time this season, especially when it was crystal clear that a) our senior QBs needed all the reps they could possibly get and that b) our senior QBs were the ones that would play going forward.

We were playing for 2011, not 2012, so getting Mett reps was not a priority.

that he demonstrates an inability to manage players and situations by thinking ahead. You have to know that giving Mett or Lee PT to get them better trumps being called 'classless' and running up the score.

Les is more concerned about being known as a good guy than he is about strategizing for the future. He lives and thinks in the now. Smarter coaches think big picture.

I think the only games beside the NSU one that he should have played in were Auburn and WKU....the rest were not really out of hand. But then again with our defense maybe they were lol.

You can use similar information from 2006 & 2007 for Flynn-Russell or Flynn-Perrilloux. Miles simply relapses into a stupid mode. He continues to get a pass by calling it stubbornness. After Monday night-stubbornness is all used up.

you keep saying this like "3rd string QB" was a big deal, when both of our starters had major issues

mett was our only QB who provided ability in the passing game by himself. that means a lot
