Yeah. It's not football. It's completely pointless to play a baseball game when it's that cold. Trying to pitch when you can't feel your fingers isn't easy.
What's the point of suffering through the freezing cold for a baseball game against a team who's an hour away, when you can just cancel it and play it later in the season when it's not miserable outside?
Nicholls wants as many fans out there as well, which is the whole reason LSU goes play all the instate schools at their place every so often, and doing it on a day when no one wants to be outside would be stupid for Nicholls.
