The lingering question I have today is why we didn't prepare at all for the A&M backup QB. There is always the chance the starter will leave the game due to an injury, or in the case on Saturday, due to ineffectiveness. I just do not understand the lack of preparation. I only hope now our defense will be prepared for the dual threat QB's we will face in the upcoming games.

To me, the lack of prep is inexcusable.

It’s gonna happen with Bama too. Ty Simpson will get thrown in there and throw for 3 td’s

I'm willing to bet a lot money that they prepared for Reed to some capacity, but you simply don't prepare equally for the back-up

Reed's effectiveness has more to do with energy, short fields, and tired defense that kept getting put back on the field in bad situations

You get 4-5 days of practice for this team

You don't spend that time practicing for a backup QB, who normally doesn't have a chance of going in outside of injury.

It's not like they really needed to prepare for him. He ran a read option and threw 2 passes and we acted like he just invented a new way to play football.
