This sucks, I was really hoping to sit down and watch the game tonight. Now Gausman only has 4 days rest if we pitch him in the first game in Hoover. Guess we could push him back a day, either way, good thing we have that bye

Me too, but if Gausman can go deep in the game, and we can chase their pitcher in the 5th, we could have the advantage in the bullpen for the second game. Trying to see that glass half full

This...we know who has the advantage in the bullpen. LSU could trot out 6-8 pitchers out the bullpen tomorrow. I don't think USC can say the same thing. This definitely plays into LSU's advantage. Especially with KG throwing a complete game last Friday.

The disadvantage could come wed. Do we start Gausman on 4 days rest, or like someone said earlier, do we start McCune instead to give Gausman 5 days rest

Wednesday won't matter if LSU wins the series.
LSU wins 2 of 3, I could careless about the SEC tournament. LSU is playing for a national seed this weekend. That means more than the dam tournament.

winning 2 of 3, but PM always does well in Hoover. Plus I think if we can win only one this weekend and win the tourney I bet we have a national seed too

We may have a better chance with the DH. I don't know much about their bullpen, but I know ours is deep which very well could come in handy tomorrow. Win the first with Gausman, and we have a good shot

I could see McCune starting our wednesday SECT game as well as the friday regional game against the 4 seed

Mccune would have to throw pretty well in the SEC tourney for PM to give him the ball in the first game of the regional. I think Nola or eades will start first game of regional.
