The team needs to be at full strength come post season. So make the moves that puts us in that position now. Im not a coach and my opinion is worthless so it is what it is

Clemson playing like their usual selves gives up 4 in the top of the 9th with 2 outs. SC takes a 5-3 lead.

That's what Mainieri said. He wants him to get rest after Tuesday night before Vandy.

Giving Poche next weekend off is absolutely the right decision.

Wouldn't be susprised to see him pitch an inning in one of the midweek games before Vandy (whatever day his bullpen would be)

Correct.

And it will lead to a lot of these:

"I thought Poche was a weekend guy. Why is Mainieri pitching him against Nicholls?"

This is unsettling.
Has Broussard not rehabbed enough to go more than an inning or 2?
I thought he had pretty good stuff in '12.
I guess CPM/Dunn know how long to leave them in

Our pen has been very solid before today. You act like it's been a pattern.

Why did Bugg get loss and not Cune?

Because Bugg was responsible for the final run that crossed the plate. Cune didn't come in until the 9th.

I'm more worried about Glenn. SLU and USL slapped him around a bit also. The relief has surrendered many less hits than he has.
