They aren't quite understanding the lightning came before the rain.

I am sure the lightning hit well before the rain did.

Lightning stops play for 45 mins, minimum. The tarp was prep in case it started to rain during the delay. Now it is going to be a full on delay.

Ummmm... Delaying the game does, for safety. I don't know about you, but I'd much rather put the tarp out before the cell and lightning get there. Call me crazy though.

But rain definitely was coming and a delay was imminent...so why not go ahead and cover the field BEFORE it rains?

Are you people really this dense?

They pulled the tarp because there was lightning within 15 miles. That's a rule.

What an ugly locker room. I thought they refurbished the stadium two years ago?

Rain picking up. I'd call it moderate.

Was that the locker room or a janitor's closet at the school?

This is crazy! I've never heard anyone call a game in the sixth due to a distant and remote threat of rain. My interpretation of the radar suggests the rain won't even get to CS, TX until 10:30! What the hell?!!! Lightning... Aluminum bats... you do the math.

Sorry, but I've got to call bullshite on this! To call a game in the sixth one hour before a storm is suspected to arrive?
