That is pretty good, did you predict a win?

Here's the question. If lsu was playing vandy this weekend, would they throw their ace or 3. I think they would match up accordingly

Has anyone mentioned fire Javi yet?
For real though, we'll be alright. Not too worried about this game.

Depends, if its this situation (have most everything locked up) then we would probably still throw Glenn

That's what I am saying. In this exact scenario where we throw Glenn. Would most elite teams like candy match up their #3 or throw their ace. I think they throw their #3 especially given the thursday night game.

No, Vandy would probably throw their ace. They didn't get mixed up in the rain/thursday night games like LSU did.

I believe in this case Mainieri would think about it, but ultimately he would pitch it the same as he did tonight. We are in a different position than nearly every team in the nation (funny you bring up Vandy) in that we basically have the national seed locked up. So we are working Glenn first for the long term success of the team (regionals and super regionals). Also, as a waiver on this, I believe Vandy's ace, Tyler Beede, pitches in game 2 of each series.

I'm merely stating, in situations like we are faced with this weekend, you do not change your rotation to accommodate for the other team's starting rotations. You know as well as I do that you will get yourself into more trouble than you will succeed.

Josh stay with me here. I am saying if you took this exact situation that ATM is in and you replaced ATM with vandy would they still pitch their ace? Rain and Thursday and all

did you at least see my gif earlier?

I wouldn't do it as a rule but where it makes sense I think you adjust accordingly.
Think if this was super regionals. If an elite team comes In says they are pitching their #3 first you're saying that lsu wouldn't or shouldn't adjust the rotation assuming that their pitching has a big drop off after their ace ??.
