It’s painful watching Kary Vincent right now
Yes that means two freshmen would be your outside corners, but let’s face it, one of them dudes ain’t your typical freshman.

Or just abandon playing zone. Vincent is a serviceable nickle when he’s in man coverage and that’s where Fulton and Stingley excel.

Vincent has been been getting beaten in man. Not bagging on him. I hope he keeps working and improving.

Is there a tweak to the scheme for the secondary this season? I ask in ignorance. It seems that they are a step slow in passing situations.

It’s a good idea. Though Flott has his flaws, at least he’s in position to make plays. I’d be more comfortable with him on the outside and Fulton moving in until Kary gets his act together. I hope we see more Cam Lewis in the back end as well.

Never been a Vincent guy, papzy
I felt auburn could have rolled us last year if they would have kept attacking him

The issue is there is no tire leader on the defense and no identity. The defense isn’t sure who they are right now. Until that leader emerges and they figure out who they are as a defense expect the defense to continue as is.

I'd like to see Delpit up on the line more. We haven't seen too much of that this year as opposed to last.
He was so much more disruptive up there.

Our issue is not DB related as much as it is LB related. We are missing D. White more than many expected. The LBs have been a problem in coverage.

Was D White a good cover lb?
