I know people want to give the SEC shite but an SEC team with a losing conference record just went on the road to a PAC 12 powerhouse and national seed and gave them a run for their money. It was a difficult win for them.

You have been a Beth hater since she hasn't played your little Dawson. Maybe Dawson isnt good for team chemistry.....maybe she causes..drama maybe she is breaking team rules...like sleep in with another player or something like that...or maybe the coaches know exactly what they are doing and believe she can't play at this level. This is not Parkview Baptist and she isn't playing against 13 year olds anymore. Now sit down and shut the hell up....we are all tired of hearing about this bull shite

imagine you showing back up to personally attack Dawson. Shocker!!!

I don't even think educote attacked a player with more vigor than you have attacked Dawson all year.

Keep up the insults and personal attacks. Makes you a big man on the board. That is all you have done all year. You are the same guy that said Andrews and Dawson couldn't play on this level and both have proven you wrong. Hurts deep inside to be so wrong about these players, doesn't it? Your jealousy is top notch.

This says more about you than any player. The numbers don't lie, only you do. If you don't like what I say don't read it.

Educote is the nastiest poster when it comes to softball and its not even a debate

Callin Jaquish a cancer, wishing injury on Corbello, calling Beth mentally ill and unstable and askin for her to see a doctor and even attacking family members.

I have stated enough on the Dawson matter, if it were up to me she would DP with Doyle at 3B and Springfield at 1B. The bottom line is our offense needs a lot of work top to bottom. Not sure why she didn't see more reps but maybe there is more to the situation but not one person knows. I don't know nor anyone else. I am sure Beth plays favorite, every coach has em. But I know she is extremely strict about stuff. I hope we come out and be successful tomorrow.

Everyone can continue to yell Dawson or whoever off the bench, its won't be any different the rest of the season

From what I saw on TV and talking to people at the game, I now understand. If you come off of the bench, be ready to contribute... that's your job. I didn't see that yesterday. If you're a starter and you're not having success, keep your head up and battle. I didn't see that in all members on the team like I'm used to seeing either. But I also think that we play better when our backs are against the wall. Let's win today and get back in this series.

Yesterdays game was a horrible experience at the plate. Some looked so lost up there, it was obvious they were not going to improve or have better chances as the game went on.

Nicky Dawson gets up to bat, and on the final pitch is introduced to the horrible fact that softball umpiring is of the worst kind. Pitch is four or five inches outside of the strike zone but the umpire, with his head positioned between the batter and the catcher's head, can only guess at balls on the outside corner, and he got it wrong. That is why Nicky gave the long stare, it was not a strike.

Yesterday's game was the same as we have been seeing all along...sporadic hitting, and failure in clutch situations.

I think we can beat Florida State. I dont know how Allie will do today, but i really hope this goes to a third game, and i believe we can beat Burroughs a second time around. King doesnt have the wicked curve like Gourley does, and so we got a shot at it.

Hat tip to Ole Miss, they should have won that first game but they messed up Second game they played great but couldn't hit. Hat tip to the team and their coach on a great season.

On a brighter note, the Tallahassee LSU alumni chapter members led by local Cajun restaurant owner, has already set up a tailgate party on the top floor of the parking garage across from the softball field. I brought tents to help... Let's celebrate!

disagree. it looked closer than that.actually too close to not swing from what i saw. they cannot afford to be looking at that when needing to protect the plate.

KIng can be beat. beating burroughs is the question.

LSu needs to be way more aggressive this game

When LSU looks to swing instead of looking/waiting for a pitch you see much more success. That's what happened last weekend. I like our patience but I think looking to go after pitches earlier would help us.

Not sure if I'm the only one that notices but it seems like no one can hit an outside pitch. We kept getting burned on the outside all yesterday. Granted the pitcher is very good but I thought there were a lot of nice pitches left over the plate

This team showed a lot of heart and overcame a lot last weekend. They played through the rain, through the losers bracket, and played late at night to get where they are. I got a feeling it will not end today. Geaux Tigers!

I always feel Torinas teams love to be in this position with their backs to the wall, they play better when they are

I like beth but they need to get over the hump before carley and Alie are done after next year. Hannah ROgers finally won a natty in her 3rd try in OKC with UF. They need to feel the urgency to take care of business. I am not talking about the pitchers but the offense and defense need to step up and now. If those two cannot grab a natty in 4 years it will be a shame.

Pitching will always keep us in every game, its up to the offense and defense if they want to advance. Offense has been our downfall in Oklahoma City, just couldn't keep up offensively.

The next step for this program is to elevate our offensive production. I think Florida's lack of offense will be their downfall again. Bama, Florida, LSU all struggle to hit decent pitching

Remember defense almost cost lsu a couple years back against Arizona state in the regional. Top 7th. Bianca commits error that puts lsu behind going into their last at bat. Luckily they pulled it off. Too many times error wise when it rains it pours and they cannot stop the bleeding.

I remember. When the D is on, its amazing, when its bad, its very very bad.

Its like that with the offense at times as well.

I hope they tell Doyle to stop swinging at first pitches. It kills her. She just looks like she doesn't have confidence. We need her badly. She is too gifted of a player to stay like this. I am a little worried with Springfield. I'm afraid her these pitchers will continue to exploit her swing
