Jackson to wide receiver!

I could see this...but why would they make this move for the bowl game instead of the off-season?

Stop with Jackson because he is fast. He gets beat a lot, and he is a liability in tackling in one on one situations, as referenced be tossed aside like a rag doll on that 98 yard td against FL. He also fumbled that game and cost us 3 points for a total of 10. Yes, he is fast. So what. Give Fulton a chance.

If Jackson is our best corner next year, we are in trouble

Might be the most talented defensive back on the roster right now, he just needs experience.

He doesn't get beat. He just needs to get his head around during coverage otherwise the refs will keep calling interference every time he puts a finger on a receiver. He may look bad at times but he doesn't get beat.

Who else you got then? Was he not our #2 this year?

ETA: it's a rethorical question. I know I'm right.

I'd like to see that Florida TD again, then. I thought he got beat in real time...

I felt like he should have been safety since he got on campus.

It's not like this is a secret - some services rated him as a safety when he was in high school.

So one td in the FL game means "a lot"?

No idea. But Tre White will be playing on Sundays making a bit of coin next season.

So can we please, please finally get DJ1 back on some PR/KR duty? That combined with NB duties should use him often and effectively enough, and help him hone his coverage skills a bit.

So who was our #2 this year? And who's our best corner next year?

Sounds like Aranda knows what he wants to do and who is the best to do it.

It's funny how short term people's memory can be. Tolliver was beat just as much if not more than Jackson when he was in, that and he couldn't turn his damn head around and locate the ball. Our corners next year will be a question marks because both Tolliver and Jackson played so so at times.

I think Jackson, Fulton, Tolliver and Smith all see a lot of playing time at CB next year. Savion Smith is going to be a hell of a player.

Kary Vincent might be the same speed as DJ but will hit. 2 DJs will be nice.
