doesn't have to be a "grand conspiracy" -- just a little nudge from the replay boss at the right time makes the deal .. Setting up straw men to hide the real issue is a weak argument about the possibilities ........

If this turns out to be correct, LSU needs to find out what happened in that booth who was in that booth and why they did not make the correct call and then file an official complaint against the SEC to the NCAA. I know they aren't any better but at least it will all be made public and also hopefully make sure that this will not happen again. I wish that a law suite could be filed for the damage that has been done to a lot of young men who played their hearts out on that field and to have some stupid gump take a chance away from them. Who know's how it would have played out, all it would have taken is one play and it would be a touchdown and a new ball game. This here goes to show you just how scared Bama and little Saban was of LSU, I mean SCARED TO DEATH OF LSU! I never would have thought that they would stoop that low but appearently they did. I am mad as hell. I think that this game could be considered a forfit and award the game to LSU!

You're probably attempting sarcasm which, in light of this guy's obvious Bama ties, is utterly stupid. Let's just say that money corrupts. That corruption is sometimes unpredictable. Ask a certain LSU Heisman Trophy winner about it. No one remotely suspected Bernie Madoff of running a Ponzi prior to his admission of criminal conduct. Why? Because his credentials were sterling.

Now with that out of the way, do you think it is even REMOTELY appropriate to have someone that potentially biased serving any officiating function?

That is UnF***ing Believable!

This.
We need to continue talk about this here on TD and on other message boards. SEC needs to change it's ways.

"I'm more interested in the tits in your sig pic."
I suggest all future postings of a sexual nature be banned unless they include phone number, address, and a good pickup line. These post are akin to ordering a fine meal at a nice restaurant and only being allowed to sit and stare at it. Some of you rantards can be really cruel.

You don't have to make a "football move" to establish yourself as in bounds. That interpretation of the rule book is to determine whether or not possession was established prior to a dropped pass. You just have to have a foot inbounds while in possession.

Do yall have enough players to suit up this weekend? the way they kept stopping the game to drag your players off, and with your QB quitting during the game I thought maybe you would be a little short this weekend.

Chicken you keep telling us on this board aboard about inflamatory posts about our players but, yet you let these Gumps come in here and post stupid posts like this one. It is so stupid and ignorant that I will not allow myself to even answer it.

The only thing the SEC office will understand is empty hotel rooms and restaurants. No true LSU fan will be found in Tuscaloosa in 2011.

Wouldn't it be great to have a tape recording of the conversation that went on during the replay assessment.
The plot thickens. Wish I had enough money to hire an investigative team to look into the whole SEC officials situation.

GH: "Alright... let's see ... it appears that he catches the ball (pauses the video). I see a foot down (forwards it some more) ... some turf kicks up."
Dick: "Inconclusive from that angle. That foot might be on the line."
GH: "I agree. Let's try the rear angle (switches the video). Ok ... one foot is clearly down ... possession looks ..."
Dick: "It's hard to tell, Gerald. I'm all for going with what the officials who were right there saw."
GH: "It looks like this might be an interception though. How about we look at it again."
Dick: "I know the Bear would be pretty upset to see his Tide kept from glory on a close play like this."
GH: "I'd hate to change the tide of the game on something so close."
Dick: "I see what you did there! The tide of the game! Let's do with the field's call."
GH: "You're the boss!"

I know what you're trying to say. However if your intimating that good men, even great men, have not made horrible decisions you are incredibly naive.

You are after all talking about the same gentleman who allegedly speaks for cash at Alabama Booster Events?
Right?

If true, that on its own is indicative of some fairly sketchy judgement.

Regardless, the situation and result from that booth speaks for itself.
