In hindsight, LSU and ASU officials could have made this offer Monday, in the spirit of being extra precautionary. If this happens/threatens to happen a third time, you bet your arse we have a Friday game.

And then what if the storm hits the Yucatan? These decisions aren't made on a whim. The storm isn't in the gulf until gameday most likely.
The only reason why they wouldn't play the game is if contraflow is enacted before Sat. at 4pm.

I heard that kickoff was going to be moved to noon on Saturday, but I called the school and some folks at ESPN and both said they had not even talked about that as an option.
So it just goes to show there has been no official decision, other than to monitor the sitch. and see what happens in the next 24 hours. Then rinse and repeat.

ESPN should accomodate...but they won't.
