the only way bama is out of the playoffs is if clemson eekes out a win over smu, say an ot win, and smu only drops one or two slots since they are ranked 8 and bama is 11. still think bama is in if smu loses!

Here is how you 100% can count Bama out:
1. SMU loses a close one to Clemson
2. Oregon gets upset by PSU
That would make Oregon ranked #5 and so the ND/Bama matchup they want so much couldn't happen.

The 12-team playoff was designed especially so that Alabama and Notre Dame can always be included.

The 12 team will get changed and they will now only allow a conference champ that undefeated.... unless you are a bama team not playing for a conference title.
