And thank god for that, I don't know what LSU would have done.

Has a great personality, but never comes off cocky or arrogant.... He represents the university extremely well, on and off the field. #BUGA

I have a buddy who made friends with Leonard through a class they had together. They ended up being paired up as partners on a project but anyway, this is all correct. He's told me that Leonard is really one of the most genuine people he has ever met. Said he spends most of his time hanging out at the apartment playing 2k when not doing football or class stuff. A truly nice and warm personality and he's got an interesting humble nature to him. He knows hes "Leonard fournette" and that's a big deal to a lot of people, but it doesn't make him cocky if that makes sense. Also said Brandon Harris and Jamal Adams are incredibly friendly guys as well.

I hope all the LSU players do this and don't put themselves in bad situations.

Yep. He actually talked about that to my buddy a bit. He said he loves people and his fans but sometimes it is tough when you can't go get a burger without getting mobbed by people. And he takes seriously his reputation as a nice guy and doesn't want to lose that. And all it takes is one time being mean to someone and it getting caught on a camera phone for all that good stuff to be overshadowed.

As much as I would love to see it and as much as I am sure he would love to represent his city, this is the reason I hope LF7 doesn't end up wearing the black and gold. Although NOLA is a great city for giving celebrities their privacy a city up North or out West that isn't in touch with CFB would probably be a better fit to begin his pro career as he would be less recognizable on the street.

Fournette is the one young man I feel would be great for the city, unlike Tyrann Mathieu who needed a fresh start to clean himself up Fournette with his character and resilience are what people should look up to. I would love for the Saints to draft him.

With his daughter, that you know lives in New Orleans, I would bet he would be okay with getting drafted by the saints. He is a great dad. I think he would be okay with not being able to walk around town like a normal person. Plus he will have enough money to get a 2nd house somewhere else for offseason secluded living.

Watching this kid and hearing stories like this make me miss home that much more. LF7 embodies what I tell people all the time about our great state. I pray for nothing but the best for this kid, he stays straight, does what he needs to do to provide for himself. If the Saints draft LF7 that would be a huge gain for a franchise that is going to need a boost in the next couple of years with Brees getting older, and our team getting younger. Someone with his high character could make the difference in sustaining greatness.

He's been a celebrity in NOLA for a while now, I don't think it would change much.

Lol when my friend asked him about getting drafted and where he wants to go, he said "man I just don't wanna go to some cold arse city."
