Don’t know how you got that deduction. Perhaps you should stick to subjects that you are somewhat knowledgeable about.
Well, here you are bitching about what a football player does, yet you have said nothing about how the government treats veterans. Seems like a logical person would do what I did. Explain how the protest by football players is irrelevant and that the real issue is how the government treats our veterans.
I simply don’t give a frick if someone stand, sits, kneels, or digs in their arse crack for butt nuggets during the anthem. I’m far more concerned that the VA hospitals are understaffed and underfunded.

Which players have come out and said they kneel because of how vets are treated? And what are they doing to change this treatment.
Maybe that’s why LF won’t stand, but since he refuses to discuss it, I guess we aren’t going to find out.

What if he had the bubble guts? That would easily explain why he didn’t want to talk about it.

I don’t think I ever said that’s why they are doing it. Did I?

Dont take it as disrepect of the flag and veterans and it wont bother you. Its all about how you interpret it. If you know where it started and who provided the suggestion, then it wouldnt be an issue

Meanwhile outside of 1 minute of “protesting” at work, they do absolutely nothing proactive to better whatever the issue at hand is. They’ll go home to their mansions and their luxuries and live their lives without ever doing anything about these so called problems.

If you're so pissed off about America will buy you one-way ticket back to Europe for your white trash arse

Nobody really knows what is being protested,
Humans are genetically wired to pursue security, prosperity and happiness. All actions, even charitable ones, are self-serving. In Judeo-Christian tradition this is known as "original sin". Religion is the attempt to reconcile this selfishness with the greater good (God's will).
Jesus charges us to love our neighbors as ourselves which is essentially impossible. The zero-sum game dynamic is believe and promoted by many, especially in the media, where your advancement = taking opportunity away from others. Combined, you get the concept of "capitalist guilt".
So, these athletes that get astronomical salaries and adoration for running around on grass and bumping into other people are having a hard time reconciling why they prosper while others do not. A number of them DO give back to the community / hold camps for kids / turkey drives etc. That being said, this kneeling and fist-in-air stunt is nothing but hypocritical bull crap unless they are also mentoring children, building a Habitat House or volunteering at a soup kitchen.
They should go and repent in church instead of trying to transfer their guilt onto me. I just want to watch people running around on grass bumping into each other.

Keep supporting LF man. It’s cool cause he didn’t kneel.

It’s not the same buddy sorry. It’ll be okay though.

I agree with this to a degree.
Although I would say what they should do is host town meetings and block party’s in areas that they believe to be problem areas in regards to racism in the police force. Invite the police and the people of the neighborhood. Let them meet each other, talk to each other, express their concerns and points of view to each other. It’s easy to vilify a group of people when you have little to no interaction with those people. But once you spend time with them and see that they are humans too with feelings and fears, you often times start viewing them in a different light. You are less likely to jump to unfounded conclusions about those people.

I’ll support him because he’s a good person who represents my alma mater well and he’s fun to watch play football. I don’t fricking care what he does or doesn’t do during a 1 minute fabricated moment of patriotism which occurs before football games that I’m not attending and usually not even watching on television

Go to the OT with this, this is not the place for this discussion bc it’s a lot of hyprocrites on here, don’t you have your own beliefs that others might not agree with, but hey no one’s bashing u or having a problem with u each day and addressing it to u, so keep your thoughts to yourself, this world would be a better place if people stayed in their place.

That’s why I don’t care what other people do as long as they are causing no harm to other living beings.

I don't agree with many things about this country and how it is run, I agree with some of the issues the players are supporting.
But I am not going to shite all over the sacrifice my friends had family members have made in service to flag and country. Multitude of other ways to bring light to you issues without turning people off, many of which may agree with you.
Wrong time and place.

I've been done with the NFL since last year because of this stupidity. I didnt go to or watch a single game last year, and won't as long as this goes on. It was actually nice having my Sundays free, and I got a lot of projects done around my house.

Can we just all agree to disagree on this and put this issue to bed.

Nice pivot! And spitting in their face is the best way to stand up for them?
