Fournette or the Honey Badger? Who will generate most publicity for LSU?

Not that it matters really, which one generates more positive pub for us. I do think the publicity that LF7 is already generating will be at least at the level that Mathieu generated. We are still getting high level recruits, years later, whose fandom of LSU was initially begun because of the legend that is the Honey Badger! Fournette will still be generating new legions of LSU lovers 10 years from now! That can only be a good thing!

Well if you are talking about positive pub, TM7 is pretty much eliminated.

While it looks like he has turned his life around, he generated a ton of negative pub in 2012. And LF has been nothing but positive minus his Heisman pose last year. And even that wasn't a big deal.

If Fournette wins a Heisman, which i think he does in the next two years it will be him.

HB got us a lot of publicity, but, at the end i think it was negative.

I love them both , but, i think after next year Fournette will be the winner.

How about this old gem. No pub is bad pub, and at the end of the day HB generated way more good pub than that 4 month stretch of bad pub. I think the way HB recovered and LSU's continued relationship with him is as good as it gets.

Honey Badger got suspended for a year. Totally washes away all the good he did.

That's fine and dandy.
But the fact is, while at LSU he was a thug who some lsu fans loved be he was good.

LF is in different universe.
In every way possible.

Smoking weed makes you a thug? Im sure you think the thousands of alcoholic rednecks who only go to games to tailgate and act like assholes are good people though.

No.
Getting kicked off the team when you have several chances to shape up does.

Redecks aren't given the same priv and opportunity players are.

Quit be a fricking idiot.

I cant argue something? LOL you must be new here. He made mistakes as a 19 year old and paid the price. He's now doing positive things and is a role model. I was upset when he got kicked off the team too but i can say im happy for him how hes turned things around.
