He looked like the real deal in this game. Very comfortable. He still needs to learn to use his vision better in the open field. Seems like I've seen a few runs this year he could've took to the house if he cut the right way.

Dude has been lowering his pads and delivering blows SINCE THE FIRST GAME OF THE SEASON. Fournette is handling the SEC.

I know. I hate how he crumbles when that 4th defender comes in and brings him down.

If it's 1 on 1, he's trucking that guy. Teams are gang tackling LF to bring him down. He has been tripped up a bit after running over people.

This is just the beginning of the Chubb vs Fournette debate that will occur throughout the next 2 seasons.

Maybe from UGA fans. LF will distance himself in everyone else's eyes by next season.

Agreed, Also every run this game came from I-formation and Florida's LB's were creeping into box. He did this running againgst 8-9 man boxes. Imagine if we handed him the ball out of a spread offense that pulled the linebackers out of the box a little. See hillard in 4th qtr against Wis.

True, but there weren't too many holes against Wisconsin, so he went down fast because he couldn't build up much steam. I think he averaged a little over 2 yards per carry and had a long run of 5 yards in that one. But with a little room, he builds up the steam to punish people like he did on Saturday. He went to another level Saturday night - the spin move was a first and the dive for the TD was incredible.

Based on our QB play, I would imagine that the 20-25 carries per game would be standard from here on out as long as we don't do the stupid subbing when he's hot. I'd like to see us line him up as a WR a few since he was good with that in high school. We could even run with another RB out of that set because I think he's going to get attention if we line him up out there and open up more lanes.

I agree and LF has all the tools. He still seems a little easy to tackle, especially around the feet. He will get better at that.

I don't kano what to say to that. if they wrap up your legs your going down.

He isn't playing dandies out there.

Must be watching different film than you. The first guy may bring him down, but he hardly goes down easy

He knows when to fall forward and he knows when to try and create space. It takes some NFL backs years to understand when to just get the extra 1-2 yards

He had double digit MTs in the UF game.

he just needs to "refuse to go down."

It takes several guys to take him down in the box. He's standing up lineman and linebackers. Saying he goes down easy is laughable. If anything, he runs too much like a fullback and needs to use his agility more

One his less flashy runs

He ran like that from his 1st run to his last

Because what you want to do with a guy that big and strong is to hit him high?

I said to a friend he needs to use a lil' more of the triggers and a lil' less hit stick. I'd forgotten all about circle, obviously, no one spins IRL anymore.

But he's finding his groove. And he's still got a lot room to get better at this.

So long as his body holds up, dude is going to eventually get that trophy to go with that pose.
