I'm against O because I'm 100% for LSU's overall success. It's why I was against firing Miles without a real homerun hire in the back pocket. It was time to move on, but moving on to this isn't productive.

Therefore, sticking with my belief that Orgeron is not in any way a suitable replacement for Les Miles for this program in any way isn't rollercoaster fan behavior. I'm sticking with what I said from day one. Firing a title winner without all of the pieces in place (at the coach and AD level) to pick up at that level at the very least isn't a smart move, and hiring a proven failure of a head coach whose teams all have a common MO, which LSU reeks of, is unacceptable.

I feel like I'm not in any way a reactionary fan. I was called a "pumper" for years just for stating the facts and warning of this very situation. I'm just continuing to say the same things I've said for years. Those are not the actions of a "rollercoaster fan".

It's the people who are constantly either euphoric or borderline suicidal, "Rollercoaster fans" as he put it, who continue to be the problem with the program. People who hate a winner and then are set on giving someone a chance for no reason outside of identifying with him on a cultural level are the problem. I don't mind people who are crushing O who crushed Miles. I don't mind people who were super positive about Miles doing the same with O (even if it makes no sense to me). It's the people who ping pong emotionally based on each snap who frustrate me because there's very little thought or logic behind any of it. Just pure emotion in their decision making or viewpoints, which always results in a net negative in the long run when given any weight.

So, yeah, I can't stand rollercoaster fans either.
