SIAP, but I thought this was pretty cool.

Ice cold.

Battling the heat and humidity is one of the biggest challenges that football players face.
That task is even greater in South Louisiana where the sultry conditions are as tough as anywhere in America.
LSU’s training staff is in charge of keeping the Tigers healthy in the Louisiana heat and it uses a recovery zone to assist with that chore.

This generation is so soft. When I was a kid we would just get heat stroke, which then led to brain damage.

I see the intrigue here but isn’t it not a good thing to go from really hot to really cold like that?

Are they gonna be able to get this on the sidelines?

I hope not. It will remind me of the team being more concerned about drinking hot chocolate at the Arkansas game then, you know, winning the game. That shite was embarrassing.

Makes sense to me.

I’ve done the same thing during winter when the outside temp is really cold.

If I’m working up a sweat and getting really hot inside, I always step outside to cool off a bit. I always would ignore the “common sense advice” that going between hot and cold was somehow really bad for me and could make me sick.
