Sheerin, a freshman right hander, recorded 109 strikeouts in 70 innings pitched for a K/9 of 14.01. He has a fastball that was clocked as high as 98 mph and posted a 4.76 ERA with 32 walks.
Skenes pitched 85.2 innings with 96 K’s, 30 walks and a 2.73 ERA the season prior coming to LSU.

My bro in law went there. One story he told me about the school was during the civil war two students tried to sneak in and watch the battle of Gettysburg. Both were shot dead. Probably not their brightest students.
