I asked why you think it is relevant or persuasive. In other words, what conclusion do you draw from that? More parity this year, what? All you did was provide the same stat. You failed to answer the question you quoted.

You've been arguing against my conclusion for several pages now. The rankings are a poor way to measure a team's schedule.

Arguing that a teams record is a poor way to measure them is stupid

I said arguing that the collective record of 14 teams, not one team, is ignorant without context. You still haven't provided any.`

The record of all 14 teams give an overall picture of how strong the conference is. That doesn't really need context.

Many assumed rightfully or wrongfully that the LSU program had declined under Miles, and it was going to take time to build the program back up to being a top ten team.

Is that why O publicly claimed the 2017 team( a team with the 2nd most nfl draft picks) was going to the playoffs?
O knew it was a rebuild so much that he said we were a playoff team.

Its amazing how much the narrative has changed in just a few years.

Everyone with a brain can see that we have more talent than every team not named bama and we actually match up well with bama. The only thing holding lsu back from winning titles is Les Miles.

The Rant after Troy and Miss St losses in 2017

Man this program is actually a rebuild. We dont have a any talent.

I guess it was "mediocre" in 2018 as well.

Yes, I think it was, however, we played the toughest teams we possibly could have from the East in 2018 and didn't in 2015.

Yes, opinion backed by facts (team records). Well done.

How does strength of schedule diminish an undefeated team?

Opinion. Because it's impossible to judge using "facts" when they haven't lost. I mean, they beat the SEC West champs a year prior...

So far we've learned from you that rankings don't matter, but records tell everything, unless you decide the SOS is weak and subjectively remove status. It seems you're changing your criteria as we go

That's not confusing at all.

Very good year=top ten

We had a very good year and did better than most impartial observers and a lot of knowledgeable fans thought.

You realize that the top rated 3 loss team in 2012 was 14th and 2013 it was 11th.

It's actually really amusing because you're doing to same thing you whined about me doing a couple of pages back.

You've latched onto one thing (top 25 rankings) and are now claiming that anyone who disagrees with your conclusion that it's the best measure is ignorant.

That high horse you've been sitting on just shat all over itself.

Incorrect. What you've actually learned from me is rankings don't measure an entire schedule.

I'll ask again, how do you differentiate between 2-10 Arkansas and 8-5 Auburn using the rankings?

So it’s a fantasy that 0 is 0-2 vs Mullen or that LSU lost to a completely outmanned ATM team this season? Again using words that have no meaning and arguments not based in reality. I also notice you feel the need to throw in insults everytime you’re proven wrong which is basically a passive aggressive way of lashing out. You have the emotional stability of a 4 year old girl and haven’t produced a single fact so far but when facts are presented to you it makes you angry almost like you’re allergic to them. It speaks a great deal to your opinions and what they’re based on.

Wanna guess how many 9 win sec teams o has beaten in 2 years?

How many 9 win sec teams we beat in 2015?

When they say context what they really mean is they want a door opened so that they can spin the argument off topic. There are facts that provide context but that’s not what they’re driving at because those are against them too.

They give you a fairly unbiased view of how well your program is considered and respected at a specific time, taking into consideration SoS, W/L and a few other things.

Seems more comprehensive than some guys opinion trying to rank a dozen 9-3 teams.

I'm guessing he won't like the opinion that LSU fired the coach that had the program in the top 16 in the country in 2015.

I mean, rankings and all that.
