Alabama 2018 was supposedly the best Alabama team ever, destroying every team but the one, so I don’t get your point.

They weren't though, were they? That's my point

Not really. The best Alabama team ever doesn't lose a single game, much less by 28 points.

O didn’t inherit the talent Miles did.LSU has been in a slow decline since 2011.Much of it mental, but not enough difference makers to compete against truly elite teams.Players have mentioned the negativity.Comments making fun of the binder, shrimpboat captain etc surely don’t put Ed in a positive light.I believe the program is headed in the right direction, and understand the skepticism. The 2019 season should shed some light on the direction of the program.I chose to be positive.

You don't know that. That's all in your head. You like to talk about facts until you decide to play fast and loose with them.

Provide evidence that 2018's Alabama team was the "best ever".

Here's my evidence that they weren't:

44-16.

Except there have been Alabama teams that went undefeated. That is a fact

He inherited a roster rated the 6th best in the country by multiple sources.

6th in the country.

The best Bama team ever could face the best Clemson team ever and lose. This argument is far from what RB considers “tangible facts.”

By 28 points?

You people are seriously arguing that this was the best Alabama team ever to excuse a 29 point loss to them? That's sad.

Bama got outcoached, and it wasn’t even close.

The best Alabama team ever doesn't get outcoached that badly. They also aren't starting a true freshman at cornerback.

The best Alabama team ever doesn't give up 18 PPG to opponents.

Lol yea they are. They'll tell you that bama just took the LSU game more serious than the other games. Ed probably pays them.

Alabama in 2018 set a record for the number of blowout wins against the toughest conf in college football, winning by the largest margins ever, and could have been worse, pulled their starters in most games. Am I right?

Average margin of victory for 2018: 27.5
Average margin of victory for 2012: 27.8

That's just from the past 10 years. I don't really care about them blowing out a bunch of bad teams. They lost a game by 28 points.

This may have been the best offense they've ever had, but the defense was the worst they've had under Saban.

Why should I provide any evidence? You don't.

It's an impossibility to say which Alabama team was the best ever due to the fact that it's impossible for any of them to play each other and find out.

You point to one loss like you've done something. It's the usual shite. You crow about people using facts then you make up your own.

I've given facts. This Alabama team didn't even have the largest margin of victory under Saban.

This is a verifiable fact ben. I'm sorry that you don't like it.

It's not that I don't like it. It's that it doesn't matter and has no bearing on the argument. You are wrong and there's nothing you can do to change it.

RB,what players on the team O inherited would have started at Bama that year?FWIW Ohio State had the most NFL players on their roster this year. They also have a coach most would consider elite.

The average margin of victory has no bearing on whether a team is the greatest, and neither does the fact that they lost a 28 point game?

So basically, anything that disputes your belief is wrong, no matter how factual it is.
