Welch was an Acadiana player, not LCA.

Ryan is better than people give him credit for but he has not lived up to the 5 star Hype. We never got much of a chance to see West at LSU, he appeared in 3 games, he had 20 tackles and a sack at ULL. But he was a 3-star in HS so the only hype he got was from people like me who know him.

Jordan Allen and Princeton Malbrue are the other players I can think of who went to LCA. Malbrue was a 2-star on one service and not listed on the others. He transferred to LSU from Northwestern. Jordan Allen was a 3 star in HS.

With Johnson, we will see. He is a great athlete, they just need to figure out where they are going to use him. That may dictate his performance.
