That is why have paid lawyers filing suit against LSU.

I guess things will play out at some point.

What is the worst case? We get kicked out? A conference will offer us immediately. It probably won't be the B1G, though, so we will see a decrease in revenue. I don't expect that, especially since Sankeyt cannot do that without the consent of the rest of the conference members under the bylaws of the conference. It has been reported that the conference presidents voted to withdraw the lawsuit, but Sankey chose to continue pursuing it. This is why I expect this may cost Sankey his job.

It already has, but not as much as leaving the SEC would cost them. That would be orders of magintudes more money. There is a financial reality to leaving the SEC that people like you either choose to ignore or simply have no clue about.

No issues with thinking outside the box. Crazy CFB world we are witnessing now. The things that made CFB the greatest sport on earth are being dismantled - rivalries, traditions, the team-school-players continuity.
If not mistaken, we had one player on offense yesterday that signed with us out of HS - Weston Davis. Obviously, Trey'Dez and Bordelon would've made it 3. CFB is now travel ball on steroids.
Whether or not the new CFB game will be sustainable is TBD. IMO, unless there is a course correction, it will morph into NFL-lite - a minor league version of the NFL. Or to think of it another way, the sport we came to love would never have become so popular had it followed the trajectory CFB is now on.
The SEC is run by an abject, inept idiot. The fact that he broached the idea of kicking us out of the conference was childish. The fact that there wasn't immediate and consensus pushback from the SEC legacy schools is concerning. Make no mistake; this is not your father's SEC.
