I'm not sure. The "Burner" ran a 4.49. I'd be interested to see if Spencer can get under 4.5.

He can be similar to Falcons' Turner who wasn't anywhere near a 4.49 anymore.

Ware isn't close to Michael Turner IMO. Hes slower, less shifty, less vision etc. Ware is a third down back at best. He runs north and south and does not try to avoid anybody or make anybody miss. He wasn't even very productive in college idk why he would be in the Pro's.

Ware will easily be better than Ford in the pros. Ware will be a solid pro for years. He can do it all and its bullshite when people say he can't make people miss. Great spin move, runs low to the ground, makes a nice first cut, pass blocks incredibly well, very durable, and had maybe the best hands on our team last year.

Freak athlete.

I think Ware could run a 4.6, like BJGE.

I think thats a great comparison but he pass blocks better and has better hands.

My expectation is that he will run a 4.5 something. That will be plenty for his skill set.

I see Ware becoming a Joseph Addai type back and Ford being a 3rd down specialist

Ware may very well be better than Ford in the pros, but it will be because of his 3rd down skillset. He could easily make a career out of it like Faulk. I wouldn't say he can't make people miss, so much as he has horrible vision or he chooses not to make people miss and instead favors contact. No way I would draft Spencer Ware to be an every down back.

Turner used to be the complete package at running back. He's turned into Ware as he's gotten older

yep a physical take on tackles kind of runner

which Ware is a younger version of. With Rodgers in their backfield I wouldn't be shocked to see ATL look at Ware

that is all I've been trying to say.

The only RB that you really can compare Ware to is the Law Firm. He ran a 4.6, but is 10 lbs lighter and a little quicker.

Not sure what's going to happen with Ford, but he is going to have 1 of the best combines out of everybody this weekend. Doesn't mean it translates to being a great football player, but he's going to shock some people with his combine.

Ware was one of the fastest players on the baseball team so don't be surprised when he runs faster then ya'll think he will. He definitely is not slow and he might not be quicker than ford but i wouldn't be surprised if he had the faster 40 time.

Better all around, a much worse actual runner though.

I would be floored if Ware ran faster than Ford. There is nothing either objective or anecdotal to support a belief that Ware is capable of running faster than Ford. Be that as it may, anything is possible, but I would be shocked if it happened.
