One thing that will put extreme pressure on the TAF, the athletic department and Mr. King Alexander is a standoff on committed cash. I'm not talking about missing ticket donations -- that will not happen again until next Spring. Plus, who wants to lose their tickets.

How about "committed" funds to specific projects the TAF has going on around campus? Is the paper the TAF makes you sign even enforceable? Probably not. Would the TAF get the LSU lawyers after a donor to force them to pay? Maybe but that would be a brutal public battle for the TAF. Cut off the cash and watch change occur. All the emails in the world will not get them to move quickly on Mr. lester. Caught off their paychecks (a portion of them) and watch the squirming start.

There is no "Lester" on the coaching staff unless he's a grad assistant.

I already said he was done what more do you want?

Sorry I'm not going to participate in this fanbase's classless hate fest echo chamber.

Not sure why you keep calling him my idol. I never met the man. I'm an lsu alum and a lifelong fan.
I also am not afraid to say that contrary to public opinion on this board, I have enjoyed most of his tenure at lsu and thought he could have finished it out strong but I appear to be wrong.
I'm not sure why it bothers people to think its time for him to go but appreciate the tenure overall.

if he resigned he would get that. He was getting that last year. I don't see why you don't understand the guy makes great money and fans expect great results...something we haven't had since 2011

The tenure has been disappointing overall, especially considering he has recruited more NFL-worthy talent than even $atan. For example, remember Russell Sheppard who was hyped as the next Vince Young?

It's all good. My buddy told me to hit up "flying saucer". But he's only been to Houston once and I think it's far away from Minute Maid.

Les miles wasn't the reason Shepard didn't play quarterback. Russel Shepard throwing ducks in practice was the reason.

Les is a great man and has our program in a great spot for his successor to have immediate success.

He does not deserve the vile hatred being spewed at him right now. He needs to be replaced, but there's a classy way to go about this.

He's been a great ambassador for LSU and south Louisiana. He loves his players and they love him.

People on here and in our fanbase need to learn some damn class. Let's go get ourselves a new coach in a graceful way.

Not bad then. I'm staying like 4 blocks from Minute Maid so I should be good.

Obv during trying times like these opinions are going to vary and be extreme.

Fact is we all thought things would change offensively and they haven't.
To make matters worse we got to sit here and watch young inexp qbs and other offenses move ball up and down field all weekend.

It's virtually impossible to defend this man.
I was never a LM hater. But jis stubbornness and quirky way infuriates me now bc we all feel betrayed.
Most LSU fans bought back in after bowl game and this is what we get.

Sad state of affairs beefeense.
Days of making excuses have passed.
