We have talent all over the field to make a run this year. For us to make it, oline needs to protect joe burrow and open holes for our running backs. The oline is what I am most worried about.

I think with the addition of Rosenthal and Wire not to mention the new guys with the recruiting class the offensive line should become a strength of the team or at least not a liability.

no

It's going to be the weakest link again. How weak is yet to be seen. But, there doesn't look to be another position group that is as unproven.

....a new scheme to execute perhaps? Creative play-calling where you're not in 2nd and long...3rd and long every damn time so the defense knows you have to throw?

Higher rated recruits than clemson's OL but you're allergic to objectivity

There is a few things to be excited about with this offense going forward. Obviously our online wasn’t a strength this year, but our backs weren’t backs that could turn the corner either, leaving us the sole option of running downhill ALL the time. (Not a bad thing, but easier to defend when defenses know this) That will change this year, RB’s will be able to turn the corner in designed edge runs. Secondly, our WR’s will be better at blocking this year and should know the playbook better. Lots of chatter about some of the talent not knowing all the plays and hit routes, that should change this year. I’m betting Burrow already has been working with guys. Lastly, the QB running the ball! I believe Burrrow will find the right mix of being aggressive and running AND......... getting down early to preserve himself. Having to defend the QB run every freaking game for defenses (when they play us) is a major difference for us this year. Add to that, Burrow doesn’t have/need to prove how tough he is anymore. At this point, he’ll be more inclined to prove he’s smarter and show that maturity on the field. All these things will make the Oline immediately look better, not to mention their natural progression as a young group.

The addition of Wire and Rosenthal should push the people in front of them. Either get better or get out of the way. Rosenthal for sure and Wire I've heard are the bigger, faster, stronger and more athletic that's been missing at tackle. The others on the interior will be reinforced by some super talented freshmen coming in. That should push them to get better. All in all I think the offense gets better. Much better.

The running backs will be night and day difference with Lanard having his turn to shine, he brings the speed that was missing this past season. Davis and Emery get LSU'S running backs back into the elite column.
The wide receivers have the offseason to improve. Not sure how much impact that Trey Palmer can have as an incoming freshman.
Tight ends finally healthy and elite.

The offense takes a giant leap forward.
