It’s strange they’re requiring vaccines at an outdoor event when libs themselves have already admitted that Covid doesn’t spread at outdoor events. They’d have a better scientific claim to require vaccines at the PMAC but it doesn’t make any sense in Tiger Stadium and they’ve admitted that.

I just tested positive yesterday, but I had to wait three days after symptoms started before I could get a rapid test scheduled. And they aren’t taking rapid test results for stadium entry. The other tests usually take 3 days to get results for. With spread as high as it is right now, there’s no guarantee people csn get the tests when they need them.
If LSU would accept the rapid test results, that would be great. I wish they would. In fact, this would do a FAR better job of slowing potential delta spread at games than vaccination status.

First it does spread at outside activities.kids are now going to the hospital because of it. And just because our afraid of a vaccine don’t get mad.

… just be an organized adult and make a schedule. Who is stopping you from booking appointments now to get checked for covid close to game day? You can get the test if you are responsible and look around

Well the problem here is that only one group of people have to provide a negative test. The logic here just isn't sound. If the goal is to reduce the spread then every single person entering should provide a negative pcr test. At this point if you deny that vaccinated carry and spread covid at the same rate as the unvaccinated then you're the science denier and think the cdc and fauci are lying.
So LSU is going to allow vaccinated people in who are positive and able to spread it to everyone who is negative.
It just doesn't make sense. So maybe the goal is to get more people to get the shots. Again, the logic isn't there. Just completely ban the unvaccinated. But they're not. So the only thing this does is make them appear to be doing something. Theres no logic to these restrictions at all.

First of all not true! If you didn’t bring your vaccination status and were vaxxed you still would have to take a test.. They are giving people options and alternatives.. that’s all you can ask for. Why do you need to understand the logic?! You dotn work for lsu or make up the rules. All you have to do is follow them. It’s not LSUs job to get you to understand their logic. their job is to keep people safe.

I dont think you comprehend what I'm saying. If you are vaccinated and provide proof of vaccination then you are allowed entry regardless of if youre carrying Covid or not. Even unknowingly. Because you don't have to provide test results. If the goal is to stop the spread then everyone should be required to show test results.

Yes. The same thing could apply to unvaccinated people who take a test 3 days before the game and contract the virus within those 3 days. This mandate isn’t to eliminate covid spread it’s to MITIGATE. Big difference
