Weaver,
In this thread, you have blamed everyone but Jefferson. You blamed the offensive line. You blamed the running backs. You blamed the coaches. Why?
Even a freshman, pick six Lee could move this offense.
Jordan Jefferson right now is rivaling Marcus Randall for QB futility. The thing is, he has the size, speed and arm strength to be much, much better. What is dismaying is that rather than grab the mantle and be a leader, he has apparently regressed this spring. I don't get it, the fans don't get it and perhaps even the coaches don't get it.
I hope and pray he comes to jesus but right now, Jordan Jefferson is the weakest link on this team and, if he doesn't improve quickly will be the difference between competing for an SEC title and placing third in the West.
It's really that simple. It is ALL on #9.

He played well and we should have won both. Stupid arse defensive penalties killed us against Arkansas.
Prolly been brought up...but we had 32 yards in the 2nd half and outside of one pass to lafell to open the half, he played like dog shite.

why does that surprise you?
not knocking this guy in paticular, but its a common theme for the JJ apologists.

For me this is the key thing about him that makes me not a fan. Not only one,, but the most dissapointing thing.

Yeah, but the problem was Lee moved the other teams offense too.

He is going to block, run the ball, throw the ball, and catch the ball I guess.
Are you nuts?

The primary fact that he has regressed and is still confused (oh by the way its against our defense) shows hes not the answer. Really we dont have one central leader at this position, so the O-Line better get it together

I'm not nuts. I'm right. He's the biggest problem with this offense and it's not even close for second place. Problem is, Lee hasn't shown up to the task either.

not the receivers who kept dropping ball after ball right?

please, Id bet more balls were dropped in 08 for JL than 09 for JJ.
Its a non issue, unless you live in docs world.

I don't care who you have, drew brees, whoever. If you don't have a running game, you will not be successful. Only qb that comes to mind is Peyton. I can't think of anyone else.
If JJ had a running game, he would be a much better qb.
Just shut up. When have YOU felt confident he could win the game if it is on him? I feel that way everytime Brees steps on the field. he is a leader and makes everyone around him better.
IMO He doesn't make anyone around him better.

Unless we include Crowton, in which case it's a photo finish.

It is April 6th. The first game is in 5 months. Calm down. Some of you are going to kill yourselves worrying about this crap.

Byrd would agree. He pretty much gave up running his routes early on in 2008, and I can think of a couple of Lee picks where he just quit on his QB. Miles should have sat his arse as soon as he started with the 'tude.
And you can't count as WR drops on the JJ passes when they didn't handle the short hop from him throwing it into the ground at their feet.

It should not be all on him. That is my point dumbass.
