For the idiots who think J. Lee can solve our problems....

here are just a few things to think about:
1. Do any of you remember how bad everyone wanted J. Lee benched last year? Of course not, ya'll are too stupid to remember anything past yesterday.
2. Our current QB has lead us to a 5-1 record and a top 10 ranking.
3. Our current QB may not be flashy, but he doesn't make many mistakes either that could cost us a victory.
4. Remember how many times J. Lee helped the other team win last year, not just by pick 6's, but by interceptions that set up a short field.
5. Remember the great running game we had last year, but now we can't seem to get more than a yard a carry. You think this may have something to do with the offensive line? Of course not, ya'll are a bunch of idiots.
6. You ever think that maybe Jefferson doesn't throw to the WR's because they are not open? I can't say there were 5 times I could think of where I was bitching because Jefferson didn't connect with a wide open receiver.
7. Ya'll do know that Jefferson is just a sophmore with the number of starts under his belt in the single digits, right? Of course you don't.
8. Maybe, just maybe, we are not dominating opponents with our offense because the play calling stinks. We are not just bringing Jefferson along slowly, the play calling is just plain horrible.
9. Jefferson, for how bad everyone thinks he is doing, has completed 63% of his passes with only 3 INT's on the year.
10. The only loss we have so far this year is to the #1 ranked team in the nation.
11. For those idiots that say he should run when he feels the pressure coming, Jefferson would have to take the snap and start running. The pressure gets to him in less than 2 seconds.
12. After 6 games, we still have not been eliminated from the NC picture.
I love #12 the most. If, and I do say if, we run the table, we without a doubt play for the national championship, but this isn't good enough while using a sophmore at QB who has not cost us a game yet this year.
The damn negativity in our fan base makes me sick. Idiots look for reasons that our current situation could be worse or that nothing positive will happen over the second half of the season. True Tiger Fans pull for their team and starting QB to continue to win games and have a great season. Which one are you?

He takes too many sacks
He also throws INTs just not as many
He's dangerous (to us) running the option play
We aren't scoring many points with him in
I'd say all of those combined could cost us victory. Just because he isn't handing them the game on a silver platter with 4 INTs it doesn't mean that his performance isn't causing us to lose.
Fact is I'm just much smarter than you. You're terribly stupid for not already being able to acknowledge these simple facts.

Ok Coach, since you are at practice with the team every day, tell us what should be done instead...

i think this will relate to the bad playcalling....running an option to the short side of the field will fail....

Jefferson isnt responsible for that record

Its idiotic to be content with an offense that ranks #109 in the country. We need to improve here. No debate necessary.
I think every fan is happy with the record, but this can be a better football team. Starting with the offense.

Jefferson needs to play his game- not J Lee's game. He is not a pocket-type quarterback.. coaches need to encourage him to tuck it and run more often, and make that decision before its too late.

Offensive line problem - see notes in initial post. Did he take too many sacks in the G. Tech bowl game last year?

Thank you for proving why we shouldn't start Lee over Jefferson. I knew you were stupid enough to prove how stupid you are.

Coaching issue for why he is running the option and not RS - see notes in initial post.

And how many would Lee score. Remember to minus the amount he would score for the other team before comparing to Jefferson.

Maybe you don't know shite about football, but are too stupid to realize it. A smart man like myself would probably agree.

Chicken and Carl Dubois think JLee deserves a shot, you calling them idiots?

No one is content with this offense. But it's idiotic to put the full blame on JJ when pretty much every aspect of the offense is failing. I think coaching and OL play is more at fault then JJ.

1. I'm sorry, I failed to realize that QBs never ever get better the next year after being forced in by injury in their first year. I guess I'm too stupid to realize that because he threw pick 6s last year, that means he's going to throw just as many this year.
2. You can also easily say our defense and exceptional WR play (when they actually get the ball) have lead us to that 5-1 record.
3. He doesn't throw picks is what you're saying. He does however take 8-10 yard sacks repeatedly, including multiple times on FOURTH DOWN.
4. see 1
5. Do you also not think it may have something to do with a failed passing game?
6. bullshite on this one. They may not always be open but there have been many replays where a WR is open by at least a few steps and occasionally wide open but JJ refuses to pull the trigger.
7. Then what the frick is Lee?
8. Agree, play calling seems to stink. However, on the calls that most of us rantards would agree with (dropping back to throw 8+ yards to our great WRs), the throws are hardly ever made unless it's busted coverage. Play calling might be dialed back because a 1 yard screen play with a chance is better than an 8 yard sack due to the QB not releasing the ball.

First of all, I don't think it is necessary to call other LSU fans "idiots."
Second of all, I don't think a fan is moronic simply because he or she suggests that Lee might deserve a second chance to prove himself.
Finally, a lot of your points are irrelevant or just plain wrong.
Part of the reason we can't run effectively is that other teams stack the box because they have no fear of our downfield passing game.
I have been at the majority of the home and away games this season. Jefferson has missed far more than five open receivers. Indeed, Jordan himself admitted that he missed open receivers down field during the Florida game because he dropped his gaze and prematurely ran on several occassions.
Crowton has proven himself to be an able playcaller over the last two seasons. I doubt he somehow mysteriously lost that ability over the summer.
This simply isn't accurate. There have been numerous instances where JJ holds the ball too long or drops back so far that he is actually outside of the pocket. He needs to stay in the pocket and throw the ball away when he is under pressure.
Now, I like JJ. I am not suggesting we bench him. However, if you are going to degrade the intelligence of other LSU fans, you shouls probably make sure your own post is grounded in reality.

some of you obviously have no clue what the phrase QB development means.. he may have games where he shows great progress, he may have games where he shows absolutely none but holding on to the ball is a problem that can be fixed for a young QB.. tossing terrible, untimely INTs speaks to a much greater problem

Does anyone remember that JL had us in a similar position last year. Of course not, y'all are too stupid to remember any facts that don't support your argument.
I'm not saying... I'm just saying. In week 8 of 2008, we were 5-1 and ranked 13th in the country with our only loss being to Florida. With wins over Auburn and SCAR.

Give Jefferson a break, he may not be winning games but he hasn't lost one yet. He'll come around, hes still young.

His poor play is the reason we didn't have a chance at Florida.
