That is probably taking it a tad bit too far.

He coaches at Florida State.

He has coached at FSU forever.

He has never won anything to brag about.

LSU has won six national titles in Martin's tenure at FSU.

Yes, I am sure I am taking it a tad too far.

Skip was the man. CPM also happens to he a damn good coach. Martin's 16 CWS are impressive, he just never could get it done. A mix of bad luck, bad decisions, and just being outclassed sometimes all plays into it.

Look, we all understand that you will use any excuse in the world to talk shite about CPM.

We all know you disappeared when LSU was winning baseball games (I thought you were finally banned, but I guess we aren't that lucky).

We all know you came back yesterday to tell everybody how terrible SDSU is, to fit your narrative that CPM sucks.

We all know you are an Orgeron fan, and not an LSU fan.

We all know you are mentally retarded.

Now do everyone a favor and go play in traffic or something.

Again, their head coach knows his players infinitely better than me. But, at 110 pitches and after a 2 1/2 hour delay, that seems like poor managing of the game. Regardless of outcome, it seems like a high injury risk factor IMO

It's really inexcusable to me. I don't care if it's Greg fricking Maddux you don't trot a kid back out after he has thrown 100+ pitches AND sat through a 2.5 hour delay. You're TRYING to rip an elbow at that point

Thanks, that is my point exactly.

This season he was the overall #7 seed playing at home. He was 2 and BBQ. Another waste of a season by him.

Agree. That's the way I felt even when he only was an out away from a shut out.

And honestly, I didn't know that the 2 1/2 hour delay came after 8th. That makes it 1000000 times worse.

Meh... The ACC is weak. And FSU played their way into that national seed in the ACC tourney. This probably was never a team he was going to win it all with. But I got your point, and the 2 and Q is embarrassing.

The guy you are replying to is sucking everyone off to become a moderator on this site.

He'll say something and if someone disagrees he does a 180. Anything to suck up to the general opinion and votes on the board.

They have the most wishy-washy opinion I have ever seen.

"it's gregarious, but I feel this way unless you disagree. Then I feel this way like you."

CPM is not above criticism. I've never said that. However, when it comes to protecting his pitchers/players, he is probably the best in the business.

Mike Martin is borderline the worst college baseball coach of all time with the best talent ever. If he didn't show up for games, FSU would have multiple national titles. He is the worst.

my brother in law played at FSU while Martin was a player. they were buds. and even he told Martin to hang it up a few years ago.

however, he is not borderline the worst coach of all time. hyperbole is out of control. and he hasn't had the best talent ever. he isn't a great tournament coach for sure.

The person he was talking about is one of those "I'm a fan of Orgeron because he's the LSU head coach and if you don't like it, go cheer for another team" guys. Then, pops up in a thread the next day and says "Pulmonary needs to be fired immediately, he's terrible."

So, a fan of O, but Paul sucks and should be fired. It's fricking bizzare that there are more than 1 of these type of people out there.

Sorry to everyone in this thread. I didn't plan on bayou and MikeV both showing up and turning it into a Tiger Rant retard convention.
