For LSU to score Jayden can't be Jaydan especially early.

Jayden is going to have to throw from the pocket. UGA will give him that. He's going to have to trust his WRs and throw to spots with timing.

Jayden has showed very little ability as a pocket passer this season. "Ability" might be the wrong word because he has physical attributes to be a good pocket passer and is perfectly able. I totally expect UGA to seal the edges (i.e., mush rush), prevent Jayden from running and force him to throw. If Jayden can't make the throws it's going to be a long game.

I hope it clicks between JD and his WRs this weekend. And damn it, catch the ball.

So. . . you're expecting to see in this game something you haven't all season long, or sporadically, at best??

UGA front is like the Bama fronts of the past
They will have to get creative
They are not gonna line up and run over UGA
The UGA DB's are gonna be aggressive as well so we shall see how the officials call this game
If they let UGA be physical it could be a long afternoon

Not sure why comments like this get bashed. It's the truth.

There sure as hell hasn't been a lot of these quick slants you're referencing...unless your definition of at "quick slant" is the 6-8 comeback routes outside the hashes.

I'm sure UGA feels their front can consistently beat LSU's OL without having to bring extra guys. So I wouldn't expect a ton of blitzing on 1st or 2nd down. They will probably be content to have their LBs squat over the intermediate middle and not get out of position to let Daniels escape from the pocket on a big run. They will probably keep their safeties deep on the hashes to help their CBs on potential deep shots and let LSU prove they can consistently execute 9,10, 11, 12 play drives.

So for LSU, can you run against what could be considered a pretty "light" box to force those LBs and safeties to come up in run support? Georgia will also be willing to let their CBs match up one-on-one. Alabama does the same thing with their CBs. They are physical and essentially say "prove you can beat us over and over again". So the offense has to be willing to take some one one one shots. Georgia is also going to give you the deep middle of the field if you think you can take it. They know that is where the most congestion is and where more accurate throws have to be made.

Loss in the disaster that was Saturday night is the fact LSU had some success with their RBs between the tackles. Emery averaged 6 ypc. Can you pop some of those again and get yourself in 2nd and 3 consistently instead of 2nd and 10 or more over and over?

CBK will have to overrule Denbrack and make him stick to the run until UGAs LBs and safeties start to creep forward.

This isn’t a receiver problem, other than the fact of catching the ball when he actually throws it. The biggest problem has been him not throwing “ on time” and to spots in tight windows.

Why in earth would you think he will suddenly become a pocket passer? What evidence have you of this?

UGA could probably leave a WR unguarded each play and Blitz JD. JD has no clue what’s going on with the D

If we don’t commit to the run and have success running it we will get crushed. If we come out throwing it on early downs like we sometimes do we have no chance.

If it’s on the side of the field they have chosen to eliminate from his read, probably so. I’ve seen him numerous times this year have man to man on the outside and not even look that way.
