Highway 3132 (Terry Bradshaw Passway) westbound in Shreveport is completely shut down at this hour, after a deadly crossover wreck near Linwood Avenue.
It happened just before 4 p.m. Police say a car heading east-bound on the passway for some reason crossed the median into the westbound lanes and struck an oncoming vehicle, causing it to flip.
Police say a female passenger was thrown from that vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
All westbound lanes and on-ramps to 3132 are expected to remain closed for at least another hour. Traffic is being diverted onto I-49.

Yep, we were 100 yards back from where it happened. Cops hadn't gotten there when we pulled up. When we passed I saw the body. So sad

just take 49 to i20 and play it safe if no one has an update. it wont cost you that much time even if it is open now.

This. 3132 is hardly a faster route anyway

To miss wreck location, leave I49 in South Shreveport turning West on Hwu 3132. It's 4 lanes w/ no traffic lights. Go about 7 miles - leave 3132 at West 70th (well marked) going west. Watch for sign directing you to turn north toward I20. (about three or four miles. This bypasses wreck location.
