If he keeps Wingo, Alexander, Perkins, Weeks and continues to bring in dogs from Louisiana in recruiting, this defense will make a big turnaround with the right coordinator.

Perhaps this is unfair to Kelly, but I don’t give him a lot of credit for Daniels development but give him a lot of the blame for fielding the worst defense in my lifetime.
Gene Chizik went 14-0 with Cam Newton.
It doesn’t take a great coach to win a lot with a heisman QB. Daniels is incredible. 7 losses with him is a lot.
Year 3 will be huge for Kelly. Is the foundation being built? Or was Daniels the biggest piece of duct tape we’ve ever seen.
