After 2 practices on a new team? Give him spring and fall practice and lets see how he does. He already throws a deeper ball with more accuracy than any current QB on the team. He does not run as well as JJ and all reports say LSU is practicing the short side sweep with JJ so more of the same even with a new OC.

He had a few missed passes.

And on the first day of practice too. This is unacceptable.

Pull his scholly. Now.

We are fricked.

Fricked, fricked.

There is no way our two senior QBs that led us to an 11-2 record could keep us in the the hunt.

We MUST have this kid that was the back up at GA save our everloving arse.

Without Mett we are not even a .500 team. He MUST step it up. Go Mett.

Thank you so much, LSUGradATL, for a bit of logic & reason. For you others: let's not "rush to judgement" on Mett. I can remember Yao Ming with an embarrassing performance in his first ever NBA pre-season game & many wondered if he would ever be able to compete. Things quickly changed, though his career has been plagued with many injuries.

Fire Krags! He's obviously been a failure in developing Mett.

You guys are funny with al the picking apart and critiquing from a day or so of spring practice--and with a few small video clips.

His throwing motion looks eerily similar to Jay Cutler's. I didn't think he looked all that great in that footage.

I doubt anyone who knows anything about football would say you could make any kind of evaluation based on that limited footage.

Les let this get out to mind frick the opponents. When the cameras weren't running he hit every receiver in the hands and even threw a 70 yard touchdown pass to himself.

Seriously people, it wasn't that bad. I mean it's day two of practice with receivers he's never thrown to before.

Y'all act like football be easy or sumthin yo.

His delivery look unusual...almost like he's short-arming it.

Interesting.

Kind of funny how everyone on here saying he will be the savior without ever seeing him throw a pass now freak out and critique everything about his throwing style. :omg:

Its the second day of spring practice, everything will be alright.

I'm not a mett defender or anything but how did he look bad?

He made a few throws. He didn't throw the ball hard and he is not required to for those drills.

I found he was able to roll out the pocket pretty well for his size but he wasn't to good throwing on the run. But then again those were only for 2 plays.

The negas are really struggling for material, they are trying to build a database of new talking points early.

Don't worry these are the same guys saying don't worry about JJ and JL proved nothing after the spring game. Too much or not enough depending on their need to find fault
