Interesting stats, but you also have to look at one of the 3 TD's that the LSU D has given up this year was a garbage time TD against Oregon, so that skewed the numbers a little.
I think it will be a close game between LSU and WVU until the middle of the 3rd Qtr. Then LSU will start to control both the O and D LOS and will slowly pull away in the 4th QTR. My guess on the final score is 30-17 LSU.

We gave up 3 TD's (including one in garbage time) to the most prolific offense in the country. We have shut everyone else down included a top 20 offense.
A 1 dimensional team is not beating this defense. The key to having a hope is balance. They do not have it.

the REAL question is will you come back and eat crow after you lose? or never show your face again like most of these douches did last year ...

if not for Stewart being dumb enough to punt to Patrick Peterson - we would have walked out of Death Valley with a win.
You are fricking delusional dude.....
Your offense wasn't hitting on much.... I mean Geno smith was the top passer with 119 yards. What makes you think you would have won that game without his PR TD?

haha nah its all in fun, but it is true. we heard all of this same talk last year, and maybe 2 of them were around after the game.

I can't speak for last year, there wasn't a reason for anyone to tuck their tail between their legs... it was a defensive battle that was won with a Turnover on our 7 yard line and Stewart punting to Peterson

Nothing to "get over"... he called me delusional for thinking we very easily could have won that game. Am I wrong?

you guys are sure hanging your hats on ALMOST winning. last i checked almost winning is losing. not to mention our defense is even better than last year, and we can actually move the ball on offense.

that's the thing about Lee... he doesn't "scare" anybody, but then he just sneaks up behind you, slaps you around, and walks away with your sister

LSU scored when it had to last year, and then cruised the rest of the way. Never did that game seem in doubt last year.

Not hanging my hat on anything, but you guys are expecting this to be some walk in the park when its not going to be one.

Same thing with UNC... we were up 30-10 going into the 4th quarter. The final was 30-24 and we needed a goal line stand in the final minute to win it.

i believe it will be easier for LSU than you think.
similar to last year. score may not reflect (though i think it will be double digits), but as someone said we controlled that game most of the way through.

I am getting off work and headed home so this will prob be my last post, but you were gifted 2 TD's. LSU fans even admitted as much last year.
We disagree on how tough it will be for LSU to win this game, but thats to be expected.
Sadly I won't be there this year as I live in NC and wasn't able to get tickets in time. Cheers, Beers, and Mountaineers.
See ya Monday.

Congrats on your copy and paste skills, I mean research. Just curious what did your research turn up as the rankings for the WV offense?

Never called it research... I even provided the link! Way to go genius.

Alot of people have said its going to be close early and LSU will pull away late when the depth and overall size advantage begin to show. Thats not what I would call a cake walk. LSU has already easily beaten teams that I would put my money on to beat WV. WV is nothing special this year and LSU is, simple as that.
And say what you want about last year, but to me I never was worried about LSU losing the WV game.
