Do you like getting 500 yds of meaningless yards and no scoring to back that up every game?
Not everyone will have 4 takeaways. And we wont face a defense as good as LSU's the rest of the year. So yes, I like what I seen from a new offense in its first real test, lots of potential.

I've watched a lot of SEC games, and haven't watched anyone that cocky. Even when he would give up the play he would talk shite like he did something.

I'm not accusing you of that just referencing earlier to the Oregon fan's who refused to acknowledge they lost the game.
I know - was agreeing with you. Great game played by the Tigers. Hope we get to play you guys more often... i.e. us in the SEC. :nana:

nowhere close to Oregon fans he's giving us some props. Oregon fan's still thought they won the game
I'm not making excuses... WVU came out after half, capitalized on a couple LSU mistakes and made it a game... then LSU struck the dagger and returned that kickoff. Completely turned the tide and they ran away with it.

#12: ALL of LSU's opponents blame their turnovers on their own mistakes and misunderstand how LSU creates these turnovers cosistently. It is just as valid of the winning formula as any other phase of the game.
I didn't blame our "own mistakes" just turnovers in general. Geno had his way with your secondary and made a few mistakes that cost us big time.
Like I said, good game. Not trying to talk shite on your board, so no need for everyone to flame.

You like throwing the ball 65 times and coming out with 21 points while turning it over 4 times?
Turnovers and starting inside the 5 most of the game was brutal :yack:
A few things...

Good game, had a few observations...
1) if the LSU D is as good as advertised, I REALLY like WVU's new offense.
2) Turnovers and ST killed WVU
3) LSU played solid on O, better than what I expected.
4) Be honest... your a-hole was puckered real tight before that return TD.
5) WVU has been a tale of two halves all season. Was headed that way again until that KO TD. Really was the dagger.
6) Mathieu is a dick. There we're numerous times he should have been flagged for Taunting.
7) I think you guys played a lot cleaner game than last year. Hope all the injuries during the game were nothing serious.
Goodnight LSU fans, its late here. But I said I would still be around and I am.

Congrats on your copy and paste skills, I mean research. Just curious what did your research turn up as the rankings for the WV offense?
Never called it research... I even provided the link! Way to go genius.

i believe it will be easier for LSU than you think.
similar to last year. score may not reflect (though i think it will be double digits), but as someone said we controlled that game most of the way through.
I am getting off work and headed home so this will prob be my last post, but you were gifted 2 TD's. LSU fans even admitted as much last year.
We disagree on how tough it will be for LSU to win this game, but thats to be expected.
Sadly I won't be there this year as I live in NC and wasn't able to get tickets in time. Cheers, Beers, and Mountaineers.
See ya Monday.

LSU scored when it had to last year, and then cruised the rest of the way. Never did that game seem in doubt last year.
And I'm the delisional one

Not hanging my hat on anything, but you guys are expecting this to be some walk in the park when its not going to be one.

Nothing to "get over"... he called me delusional for thinking we very easily could have won that game. Am I wrong?

haha nah its all in fun, but it is true. we heard all of this same talk last year, and maybe 2 of them were around after the game.
I can't speak for last year, there wasn't a reason for anyone to tuck their tail between their legs... it was a defensive battle that was won with a Turnover on our 7 yard line and Stewart punting to Peterson :banghead:

You are fricking delusional dude.....
Your offense wasn't hitting on much.... I mean Geno smith was the top passer with 119 yards. What makes you think you would have won that game without his PR TD?
re: If WVU had a better O line....
Posted by CarolinaMountie on 9/23/11 at 2:23 pm to bbap
If LSU can force 3 and outs, then yes their depth will come into play, but if WVU is able to move the ball depth wont matter with the no huddle offense, the D-Line will stay on the field.

I respect a fan that stands up for his team. Surely you can't really think WV even remotely matches up with LSU in talent...
I think LSU fans tend to be a little over confident.
Doesn't matter what I say on here, I will just get flamed. Doesn't matter if I use real football stats etc, I will get flamed.
LSU fans are clammoring for 4-5 interceptions from Geno, he has thrown 9 in his career. He also played in Death Valley as a Sophomore in just his 2nd road start (and definitely his first "hostile" road start) and he still looked decent against a stellar D - while running a crappy offense.
A year older in a MUCH better offense, I expect him to perform better than he did last year. We lost 2 key offensive playmakers, Jock Sanders and Noel Devine (who was blatantly injured out of bounds by LSU last year) - Jock hasn't really been missed. Our younger recievers have developed into reliable targets along with a transfer who has shown the ability to be a great posession reciever. The lack is where ND would have been, but hey - we didn't have him last year and if not for Stewart being dumb enough :banghead: to punt to Patrick Peterson - we would have walked out of Death Valley with a win.
