Following LSU Men's Golf in 4th Round - currently in 12th place and 7 shots behind 8th

LSU Men's Golf need to finish in the Top 8 this afternoon to qualify for the Match Play portion starting tomorrow. I think we ran out of gas. They are +2 for the day and +4 for the tournament after about 13-14 holes. Currently 7 shots behind 8th place. A mountain to climb on the front 9 (their second 9). Golf Channel picks up coverage starting at 4:30 p.m. so LSU should be on their second nine (which will be the front 9 since they are starting on the back 9). Going to be Epic again today. Geaux Tigers!

I think the Omni in California. Which is why the later start/finish today

I don't think I know that course. Hope it's on the ocean but not in northern cal. I will watch tonight

They are playing at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, North Course. Its been there for several years. The same course the LSU women just played last week, except longer yardage.

It’s probably about 3 miles from the Pacific. Still close enough for wind to play a major factor like it did in round 1

LSU has cooled down and has 9 holes remaining. 6shots back. It is going to be a mountain to climb, but here's hoping they climb it.

Looks like they gave several shots back pretty quick. That may be the end of it.

Golf team made a great run, but it looks like they will finish a little short. Maybe just ran out of gas. 4 - 5 holes remaining and 7 shots back.
