Seniors make all the difference, IMO.

I think that Ohio State has the seniors this year to do what they couldn't the last two years.

All because of senior leadership/experience.

I agree somewhat. I agree that OSU will have an undefeated regular season, make it to the dance again, but play a 1 loss UF team and lose. The only way i believe OSU will win is if OU or WV goes undefeated, but i think UF will be really good with Moody a real RB. Tebow's numbers will drop but they will be a better team.

so again, the LSU RB corp is as good as the Miami 01 team.

portis, mcgahee, and gore before he tore his acl vs williams, scott, and murphy. the 3 of them combined last year put up just over 1000 yards. portis put up over 1300 by himself.

Winslow was a stud, but Dickson is about 90% as good.

As for the Oline, I think LSU has them beat by my assessment.

ah yes, we all know THAT is what is most important.

that line had 2 first team all americans, 4 first team all conference(and the 5th missed the last games of the season but still made 2nd team all conference), the outland winner, a rimington finalist, and allowed 2 sacks all year.

Overall, LSU compares well to Miami 01 at the 10 positions.

for the 2001 season miami had 3 first team all americans on offense on that roster, including 2 on the OL. 7 first team all conference players. and the conference offensive player of the year.

there were 6 eventual first round picks on offense on that roster, 7 other first day picks, and 4 other players drafted.

but yes, lsu, or any team for that matter, compares well to this lineup.

wait a second...wasnt 06 ohio state senior laden before getting destroyed by the belly-draggers?

the senior-laden advantage is overrated...
