That crop duster flyover never gets old.
The best part of that video has to be the way the cameraman is cracking up at this failed attempt of a flyover

I believe those jets were T-33 trainers.

One of the guys was a fraternity brother from LSU, so they were probably T45 Goshawk Intermediate/Advanced Jet trainers from NAS Meridian.

There were two planes, but I thought they read off a lot more names than they would have needed for two planes. It was loud and I may have misheard, but I wondered at the time if there were supposed to be more and somebody had a mechanical issue or something and had to abort.

I'm not bitching about it because it was awesome. I do agree they could have been lower, but I bet it was because of all the shite the Air Force got with super low fly overs.
Iowa Fly over
ESPN shot

The pilots got in a bunch of shite, but if you ask me it was bad arse!

The lead pilot was a USMC LTC, so they weren't students at any rate.

FAA restricts to 1000 feet without a waiver. 500 feet with a waiver. And before any of you say anything, yes, it does apply to military aircraft. You won't get a flyover anywhere below 500 feet. Just sayin.

I couldn't see them in my seats in the Stadium Club, but got chills when they passed.

I'm still pi$$ed that they didn't drop candy and bubble gum when they flew over. I mean WTF?

Which is probably why they didn't drop my damn candy.

I had a few drinks but I could have sworn they were Sopwith Camels
Posted on 9/11/11 at 7:55 pm to oOoLsUtIgErSoOo
There were only 2 of them. Normally there are 4.

Now we've got a thread complaining about the "quality" of the fly over.
Apparently NOTHING in, out or above Tiger Stadium is good enough for you. If something is that bad, I don't go. So, I suggest you do the same...stay home!

They flew over my house - Nothing but two trainers
If all you have is a couple of trainer jets for a LSU flyover, its better not to have one.
Give me F-15s, FA/18s, F-16s, B1-Beez or stay at the base.
