Unless he has an injury like Bosa had and will miss a majority of the season, a player won’t have the option to “opt out”. This season is the only season where players can opt out and/or play and not lose eligibility. I think there will be some penalties for players that do that. NFL will notice too. I don’t think Stingley will opt out. I think he has individual awards he wants to get.
