Dont kid yourself with the final score.

FL could have turned it on at any minute, opened up their offense, and scored a few more points.

No one else is amazed that a dive with a 170 pound back beat us. All from an O being run by a Tim Tebow that was not 1/2 of what he can be.

Meyer had NO DOUBT that our inept offense could not even think of hurting him......his D dominated the entire game.

We were toyed with by a former rival.

BAMA is not going to toy with us, we will have similar offensive production and give up like 8 sacks.

Felt the same way. It seemed like Meyer was toying with us.

Our defense played well, no doubt

however, UF ran a vanilla offense for sure

Right...Coach "run up the score" was being nice to us.

With Meyer's history, do you really believe this? They dominated the game, no doubt, but I don't think they could have "turned it on."

I kept thinking that Meyer was just standing on the sidelines laughing at how inept LSU's offense is.

maybe so......but do you feel UF even ran 1/2 of their offense?

The only respect showed us was the reverse on 4th. That was it.

Every bit of it.

With a healthy QB....and ANY type of threat from our offense, we see an entirely different offensive strategy from FL.

this is the stupidest thing i have seen so far, if florida could have beat us by 40 they would have...make no mistake about it...they came in stomped on the eye, then struggled because our D played very well...

OH hell, I didnt know that.

That changes everything.

In that case, I was wrong, I did not see a dive play control the clock and move the ball. Hell, I guess I did not see the base FL 3 and 4 man rush absolutely blow up our QB.........

shite, they stomped on the eye. Their game plan was now different. My bad.

I won't say we'd beat you by 40, but looking at the way we usually play do you ever see us play a game where most of our plays are literally dives up the middle? The O, for probably a number of reasons, was very vanilla. Meyer put the game on the Defense for sure.

Exactly....we were beat by ONE dimension. He withheld weapons and beat us.

my point is, that obviously tebow still had some lingering affects and that florida team on the field last night could not have beaten us by much more than they did. one of tebows only throws downfield was aweful and picked. they didnt have the team to beat us by much more (at least last night).

You've got to be kidding me! When has Urban Meyer EVER spared anyones' feelings? Do you recall last years score? Do you recall the score of the Charleston Southern game? Give credit where credit is due, our defense played damn good last night!

Tebow has never beat folks by chunking it all over the place down field.

IF we could challenge them at all on O......we see a more diverse package from them.

They put their D on the field knowing we were not a threat...that is insulting.

First Downs: UF 22 - LSU 12
Rushing Yds: UF 193 - LSU 66
Passing Yds: UF 134 - LSU 96
Total Yds: UF 327 - LSU 162
Punts: UF 1 - LSU 4 (this is probably the most telling- as UF maintained possession when it had the ball)
Time of Pos: UF 36:30 - LSU 23:30

The final score UF 13 - LSU 3 (doesn't really tell the full story)

They won plain and simple with a QB with a half broken eggshell...you could see Tebow was running scared to say the least, so by playing him you can assess that yes, Meyer did take it somewhat easy on LSU..

Why didn't Florida run up the score on Tennessee? Maybe because Tenn played very good defense against them! Tebow was very underwhealming in that game as well. They don't have the weapons they had last year. If we had any offensive production last night, we could have won!
